Trout Recipe
The first step in any trout recipe is to catch the fish. For instructions on how to properly gut and skin a trout, please follow this link.

Ingredients List:
- 1 /2 Kielbasa Sausage
- 1 can heart of palm
- 3 Potatoes
- 1 Trout
- 1 Tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1tsp black pepper
Step 1:
Dice the 3 potatoes and throw into your cooking pot. Put on medium heat and pour ¾ the heart of palm liquid into the potatoes. Allow the water to steam and then add 1 tbsp of olive oil. Cook for about 10 minutes.
Step 2:
Slice the kielbasa sausage into bite size chunks and add to the potatoes. At the same time, add about half the can of heart of palm into the stew. Cook for an additional 10 minutes
Step 3:
At this point, the potatoes should be softening and falling apart. Add salt and pepper and whatever other spices you want to add. Take the cleaned trout and put on top of the stew. Cook for about 10 minutes, until the flesh begins to fall off the bones.
Turn off the heat and peel the trout from the bones, throwing out the skeleton and leaving boneless chunks inside the stew. Let cool and enjoy!
